Air sweater. Free knitting pattern

The Air sweater is worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in the round before underarms. Then, the back and front are worked separately. The shoulders are sewn with the horizontal mattress seam. The sleeves are worked in the round, from the stitches that are picked up around the armholes.

To fit bust circumference:

Size 1 – 82-87 cm [32-34”]
Size 2 – 92-97 cm [36-38”]
Size 3 – 102-107 cm [40-42”]

Materials and tools:

Yarn: Drops BRUSHED ALPACA SILK. 77% alpaca, 23% silk. 25 g [0.9 oz] = 140 m [153 yds]. Colour 14. 5(6-7) skeins.

Circular knitting needles 5 mm [US 8], 80 cm [32″] long.

Double pointed needles 5 mm [US 8].

Sewing needle.

Stitch markers.
